In 2009, Marco Deluca opened the doors of what would become one of Buffalo's most beloved restaurants — a place where authentic marco's pizza was made the way it was meant to be: with fresh ingredients, old-world technique, and an unwavering commitment to flavor.

Marco grew up in a household where every Sunday meant the smell of dough rising and sauce simmering. He carried those memories into everything Marcos stands for today. Every pie that comes out of our stone oven carries that heritage — crisp on the outside, pillowy inside, layered with flavors that speak for themselves.

With 12 years in fine dining kitchens across New York, Sofia joined Marcos in 2015 and elevated our menu with seasonal specials and creative pasta dishes.

James ensures every guest leaves smiling. A Buffalo native with a background in hospitality management, he's been with Marcos since the very first week.

2009

Marcos Opens Its Doors

Marco Deluca opens the original location at 1085 Niagara St, Buffalo, NY. The first week is unforgettable — locals line up around the block for a taste of authentic marco's pizza.

2011

Buffalo's Best Pizza Award

Just two years in, Marcos wins the Buffalo News "Best Pizza" reader poll for the first time — a recognition we would go on to earn five more times.

2013

Catering Program Launched

Growing demand leads us to launch our full-service catering division, bringing authentic marcos pizza to weddings, corporate events, and private parties across Western New York.

2016

Kitchen Expansion & New Menu

We renovate and double our kitchen capacity, bringing in Executive Chef Sofia Rivera and expanding the menu to include handmade pasta, seasonal specials, and an elevated dessert program.

2019

10-Year Anniversary Celebration

A decade of serving Buffalo! We host a week-long celebration, invite back our first customers, and launch the Marcos Loyalty Program to give back to the community that made us.

2022

Online Ordering & Delivery

We launch our own online ordering platform, making it easier than ever for Buffalo residents to enjoy authentic marco pizza delivered fresh to their door — no third-party apps needed.

Today & Beyond
